Mission Statement
Expediente Rojo Project, Inc. (Code Red) is a national 501(c) non-profit anti-crime organization. Its website, www.expedienterojo.org is the only website of its kind, establishing itself as the one and only source of crime-watch information and victim assistance to the Latino communities.
Welcome to Expediente Rojo, an informative
website and forum for communication between the Latino communities
and law enforcement agencies. Expediente Rojo is
dedicated to the pursuit of justice and prevention of crime.
Expediente Rojo has the ambitious
goal of becoming the single site in cyberspace to provide a complete
archive of actual crimes, a comprehensive archive that will cover
the gamut of crimes being committed in the United States. Expediente
Rojo also will highlight the ever increasing severity
and complexity of crimes being perpetrated by today’s criminals,
and the investigation of which is headed by a growing number of
specialists of Latino origin. Expediente Rojo
includes links to law enforcement agencies and investigative bodies,
both national and international, which, have established themselves
as leaders in the fields of law enforcement and justice. Expediente
Rojo will also be a source of guidance and support;
it will offer special links to organizations offering aid and information
to victims of crimes and their families, who are often left on the
sidelines to suffer their pain in silence without the necessary
support.
Among the resources offered by Expediente Rojo will be a glossary of proper terms, forensic vocabulary, and legal terminology; statistical data regarding crime and its effects on the Latino communities; as well as reports on the most recent advances in the field of justice and crime investigation.
